So quick update...

Tried spacers on yesterday... all seemed to be going well... fitted one wheel and just wasn't sitting quite right. The original studs were just fouling the back of the RS alloy.

So going to need to shorten the studs by a little, but I have no anglegrinder etc etc, so booked in at John ST-3's again on monday.

Going to look nice tho:

On the plus side I have fitted my badgeless grill... ).gif

eeek, bit out my price range, plus just booked my car for custom exhaust so there's a few hundred quid gone lol. Where did u get the lowering springs from?

I am doing a similar thing to you, painting up all the external chrome, but in red. Mines the zetec so gonna get a boot spoiler fitted soonm just don't know whether to do it colour coded or red to match the other parts.

Custom stainless Cat Back Exhaust will be next big thing... need to sell the wheels first to fund it... Then maybe re-map?

Soaked them with some Tardis (Tar Remover) carefully used a stanley blade to cut the top of the foam sticky behind tge letters then gently pulled off with fingers... Clean and polish.

Another question, when you put the front grill trim back on when u painted it, what adhesive did you use? Mine is currently off and being painted.

Tiger Seal... its the Daddy! Just use a few splodges... one on each end and then 3 down the length... not too much. Then use some low tack masking tape to hold in place for 24hrs. This stuff really sticks! I used loads on my Focus ST Carbon bonnet trim... it would not come off when I sold it!

What colour you going for?
