Hi all my 09 registered focus Style 1.8 tdci has started making strange noises hours after shutdown.

It sounds like the Speakers are intermittently making a scratching /banging noise which can be heard from inside the house.

There is a slight static noise that sounds like the radio is on on start up as well.

any ideas lads?any help much appreciated

Hi and welcome to the forum,

Never heard of this problem before, is your model still under warrenty,

Or have you driven in heavy rain conditions as the engine bay fuse box may have gotten water engress which can short fuses and cause strange happenings within the car,

Also try removal of stereo and refitting to check rear connection plug isint loose.
