The light is a bit too diffused, tbh they look more like drl than fogs to me.

THe OSRAM Gold night breakers arrived, got them in and some cheapy blue leds for the footwell 4 leds but they are not the brightest but looks okay, need to wait for the night now lol

Just been out in them, amazing, had some after market bulbs before but these are defro the best, brilliant even spread across the front. Will get some pics if it helps lol.

Told you :) they're great brightness wise. Ive got a set of Philips Diamond Vision 5000k in mine which arent as bright but give a more icy-white colour so they match my angel eyes :)

I just replaced mine with these, main and dipped and they are far better than stock and are recommended by many.

Plenty bright enough in my opinion

bulbs! Just going out in to the cold to replace the 3rd or 4th bulb in about 18months. All genuine OSRAM or Philips H7s, careully fitted. Is this common? Atleast I can do it in double quick time now with all the practice I've had.....

Not usual no it depends what bulbs your using some of them have high output but crap life spans. Particularly the bulbs with a thick blue coating because they require a decent output to shine through the coating

They are +90 or 100% but not maxy-p blue. This recent one may have been due to a vicious country road pothole, that bad I thought it must have bent the alloy but looks like only the bulb took the hit

Make sure aswel when your changing the bulbs that you dont touch the bulbs with your hand. use gloves or a cloth when fitting as this can greatly reduce the life of your bulbs

Summary


Should a customer express concern about repeated, blown headlamp bulbs on one
or both headlamps, the probable cause is a voltage spike in the electrical
vehicle system.


• NOTE: Fiesta 2008.75: It is not required to remove the headlamp
assembly on the right-hand side.


• NOTE: Kuga 2008.5: It is not required to remove the headlamp
assemblies completely.


To rectify this concern, an resistor wire should be installed on both
headlamps between the current electrical socket and the headlamp bulb H7.

So bought and fitted resistor wires back in March/April........and drivers side bulb just gone...again. Being summer with light mornings and nights chuffin lights not even been on that much. Amazing how little niggles can really put you off and start to hate the fing car.
