I am looking forward to see how the tinting goes lenny, want to get mine done aswell but finding a good place isn't easy, tints with bubbles and dirt look tacky as crap!

well i want as factory looks as possible so he is going to show me the tints they have got before they put them on so will see what I think and once its done I will post up pics.

only having the rear of the car done as here in wales its illegal to have the drivers/passenger windows tinted.

had all my fiesta windows done and the police pounded my car and cost me 150 to get it back out so wount be cought like that again lol.

In Ireland were allowed tint the fronts by up to 35% darkness maximum, it must allow 65% light through,

For me that is a bit dark on the front so I've phoned the local tint specialist today for 20% on the front and 30% on the rears

He may fit me in on Friday says it takes three hours, hopfully DMB side stripe arrives before then too.

Trial fitted the rear plate after work this morning,

Plan A was to unclip the plate surround and fit in the show plate, but the plate surround is blocking the bottom font.

So

Plan B

Purchase some velcro strips and fit the plates over the existing ones when required.

Lowering in the morning (Thursday)

Window tint on Friday, 190euro for all windows except windscreen,

Rears 35% front doors 20%

Re-paint brake drums Sunday if weather is good.

Hopfully stripes arrive from DMB soon and get them fitted too.

Update:

Lowering springs fitted :)

I'm off to sleep, in work at 11pm handling is great,

All response going to the road,

No squat at all

Cornering improved too.

Mpg up by .2 on the average reading so far,

Not much more bumpy than when on standard springs,

The 18's make the most difference on feeling the bumps,

Car looks ace man! Love how it looks on the lowered springs. Making me tempted to get that done myself now as springs and camber bolt kit is not too expensive. Hope you get the tints and decals done soon. Looking forward to the completed car :)

I've just woken up after night shift,

Looked out the window and......

MY CAR IS GONE!!

Stripes arrived yesterday but may not be fitted today as they don't do graphics

But he has a sister company that specialises in graphic application and will try fit me in today.

Nice one mate, would be a welcome bonus if they could get the stripes down today as well after yesterday's experience!

Car is lookin amazin by the way, will only get better too as the springs 'settle' over the coming days/weeks.

Focus has just arrived back from Atint.ie absolutly fantastic job done.

Very happy with todays results, 190.00euro very well spent, light tint front door windows, 35% tint rear windows,

Can't open windows for 4 days to allow the tint fully settle,

Side stripes not fitted yet but I will arrange it for next week some time when they are available to do it.

Good purchase with the drl's mate,

I had thought of having them colour coded prior to going gloss taxi black on them and the grills.

I'm considering changing the front bumper to a ST one in November,

I'm on modification holiday from 01st June - 01st November.

But I think an ST front end with gloss black grills, smooth over headlight washer caps and a TrippleRcomposites front splitter would be nice although I'll lose my drl's
