Ohhh aftermarket I look forward to seeing the Head Unit you went for! I have been wanting to change my 6000cd for a while now but worried about losing the all silver oem look.

There are a few headunits that are silver in colour which would retain the oem look. Mine is black, rectangular from Pioneer and it doesn't look too bad :)

Quick question Hassan,

The iso cable for the aftermarket stereo:

I want to have the steering stalk working,

So do i need to purchase both of these adaptors:

Adaptor A:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/150846705683?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&clk_rvr_id=707672085948&afsrc=1

And

Adaptor B:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/T1-FO3-PIONEER-Ford-Mondeo-S-Max-Focus-Steering-Wheel-amp-Phone-Interface-Adaptor-/181243737282?_trksid=p2054897.l4275r

Do i only need to purchase adaptor B ?

I looked into those links and went back to my 2013 build thread to see which one I bought. I got them all off Dynamic Sounds uk. This is the kit that I got and I asked them to send me the Pioneer patch lead so that I could connect my headunit. I found that buying it as a kit was cheaper than getting the parts separate.

http://www.dynamicso...reo fitting kit

I reckon there might be other sellers on Ebay/Amazon selling the same kit as a deal. Would be worth googling round for it. As regards to the 2 links you provided, I am not sure that either of them would fit. Plus, they work out to be more expensive in the end as you will need other parts as well.

Just had a second look at the Dynamic Sounds link that I sent you and there is a drop down option to select a Pioneer patch lead when ordering. It doesn't say the model/part number though. They are a very good company as I had issues when ordering and I was travelling to London to pick it up. They replied to an email within 30min and had the problem sorted in 1hr. The parcel was dispatched straight away such that I had it when I flew over for the weekend. Very good customer service. Their shipping to Ireland is expensive though. They do ship to N.Ireland for free as it's part of UK. You could always use Parcel Motel to get it delivered to you.

Have you already revealed the head unit your purchasing? Have I missed the announcement? All this talk about patch leads gets me wondering
