Gary Minty Jupe Posted March 30, 2013 Share Posted March 30, 2013 just removed my rear wheels so i can start prepping and painting drums and have noticed a spingclip/washer on 1 of the 5 wheel studs on both wheels (also got a green pen mark around each one as well) anyone got idea what they are for ? also going to be changing my wheels this week form 16"factory fitted to 18"s do i need to remove the springclip/washer or leave them as they are ? 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

stef123 Posted March 30, 2013 Share Posted March 30, 2013 I can see the pic now that I'm on the computer, as Mike says above it is indeed doing the same as it would on a disc setup as those are sealed type bearings and therefor the drum isn't held in with the hub nut.
