simon31
Hi all, I have a 55 reg (2005) Focus 1.8D Sport. I've got a red warning light on the dash, I've been told there is a problem with the sensor for the fuel rail? Anybody know if this is a common fault / easy fix?? Thanks
adi v6
a mate of mine had the same fault on his focus he replace the fuel filter and that sorted it hope this helps
Stoney871
It could be a duff fuel pressure sensor which means a new injector rail or as stated above just a gummed up fuel filter. When was the car last serviced? If it was more than 8000 miles ago I'd say give the car a full service and work from there. It is also advisable to get the fault codes read, if a red light has flashed up them there should be at least one stored.

Stoney871
The filter strikes again. :p Rule 1 for a 1.8 Focus MK2- If in doubt, change the fuel filter. Seems to work every time. :d
