neps
My oem steeringwheel is so thin and simple. Looks so cheap. Then I saw this picture of the Mk8 zetec, and knew that I need to get one. Question is, will this fit? I guess it will physically, but what about wiring, and airbags? Maybe the airbag/inserts from my Mk7 steeringwheel will fit, so ill end up with a hybrid steeringwheel? Any ideas?
AJ_sXe
I wouldn't have thought they would change anything major technically wise, so I don't see why not.Only way to know for sure is to try fit it I guess.

neps
Ok, looks like they will swap straight over, with no problems then. Just re-use current airbags. The MK8 will have blue backlit buttons though?

DanGersFord
Well 03-05 widely known as the mk6, 05-08 is generally called mk6.5 (facelift mk6) and 08-12 generally known as a mk7 then the 13 plate is generally known as the mk 7.5 (facelift mk7) although Ford dont officially recognise the mk categories they tend tonjust worknoff the year of the car when ordering parts
