dalefoster Posted March 21, 2009 Share Posted March 21, 2009 hi there i have a ford ka2 1998, for the last few days it has been tapping like mad and has a slight missfire, so it only seems to be running on 3 cylinders. no pwer there and also need to ride the clutch or wont hardly move. so i took it to a garage and he tightned the tappets. then it was perfect. next day a loud clicking noise was coming from the engine so i took it back and he said you need a new engine so i took it for 2nd opinion. and they said it was the rocker shaft, means nothing to me so im just looking for some advice really if this sounds about right ? i think he said on the adjustables one of them is on its limit so the push rod is not reaching its destination or vise versa please help lol thanks dale Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
