They later fractured after three years and I sold them on eBay for 200 pounds at auction, leaking air through the cracks. #SmackDat

No as was most likely the country roads, also had a rear passengers side flat tyre for few weeks and didn't know as the side walls were reinforced Didn't know until I saw wire on the inside of the tyre, The eight inch wide rims suffer negative camber despite laser tracking alignment, The standard rims are 6.5" wide which doesn't suffer the camber issue as much Could have been worse though 🙊

markm265
Any of you posting about putting alloys on your car, I have bought 18” ST alloys for my 2009 focus and am having problems with them. Only put them on yesterday and they look perfect. However the wheel nut doesn’t turn onto the wheel stud as much as it should/ did with old wheels. Do I need special nuts? Thanks
nicam49
Can you post a pic up of what you mean? If the nuts are only held on by a couple of turns I'd put the old wheels back on sharpish till it's sorted. There's a discussion going on here about wheel nuts
markm265
The stud threads in as far as the red line in the second picture. Have been told I need special wheel nuts, but don’t see how this will help as it can still only thread in as far as the alloy..
