Does It Matter If Windows Don't Go All The Way Up With A Wind Deflector?

I have just fitted some wind deflectors to my car and I am just wondering if it matters that my window is about 3mm lower than it should be?

Well there will be about 3mm of plastic that wasn't there before ;)

Btw you may need to reset one touch up/down if if stops working.

The one touch up and down only works on the drivers side window anyway? Is that right?

Yeah that's right. They're always a little lower, but they're fine. I've had wind deflectors for 18 months and not a problem, just switched them to the new car and again, no problem.

Give them a quick squirt in the channels with WD40 and the window will find its own way.

Think I ended doing WD40 on my last car because 1 channel was a pain >.<

Just force it shut if needs be and leave them closed for 3 days and they'll bed in lovely. I had really bad trouble with one window jamming at first but over time they sort themselves out :)

Mine go up and stay up and don't jam so I am just going to leave them how they are.

Ends up scratching the tops of the windows, keep them channels clean :P

I just out on a new set on my car yesterday. The window sits lower than it should for a while but it'll gradually go most of the way up as the deflectors settle in.
