As per the title just reversed up our drive but had the car on full lock and heard/felt some knocking from the wheel area? Anyone else noticed this? The cars only done 600 miles...

mine does this as well, from the first day of delivery actually, I have another very annoying niggle, the arm rest pops up a little bit every time my arm lifts to change a gear, is this just mine? i was thinking of putting some sponge tape or whatever you call it to seal it a bit better.

Arm rest is in a bit of a not-so handy position I must admit, would be nice if it could slide back a bit.

I would actually like it a bit closer to the shifter. but it has those little rubber things that compress under weight and as soon as I lift my arm its pops up making a very annoying thump. but as for the full lock I can feel it on the steering wheel. My previous car did the same but that was with huge aftermarket wheels so didnt think anything of it

Mine clicks when moving back or forth with the steering turned.

Done about 800 miles so will be mention it at the 1500 check :(

What's the 1500m check? Is this free?

You have a courtesy check at 3 month or 1500 miles

Oh it's free but to be honest they just drive round the block and check the fluids. Its a chance to bring up any issues you may have.

How do you go about booking that? Or should the dealer call to arrange?

You book it when its due. It takes an hour to complete.

It should have been mentioned when you picked up the car.

Mine does that too when reversing, not sure if its knocking though its a definite different groan to the normal reverse though.

Mine sounds like a clicking which changes speed. Not clutch / gear box / engine but may be power steering.

Hmm, don't know if to bother with the 1500 mile check, if all they do is check the levels then I may as well do that myself >.<

My dealer doesn't even bother with that check anymore.

Does seem pointless when you're supposed to check the levels yourself anyway.

Have you guys noticed how noisy the engine is. Mine was really bad today, really rattling .

Well it is a 3 cylinder, they are pretty prone to rattles unfortunately.
