Gavinjohn3
Hi Guys, I need guidance! Recently bought a Focus 1.8 TDCI 2009. I've noticed a clunking noise from front passenger side when driving over bumps etc. I've had a look underneath and found the n/s driveshaft has movement and while moving it I can hear the clunking sound. I've also noticed oil and gunk where the CV joint meets the gear box. I've checked the rubber boot (no problem) I've also drove the car in circles with no sound. I have been told it could be a fault drift shaft seal which needs replacing. Any suggestions? Regards, Gav
