the obvious one has to be the fat twonk from the go compare adverts

been torturing me for years

adverts like that will just make me give whatever the company is a very wide berth

i will not be annoyed into using someones service

even the 'saving the nation' ones where they fired rockets at him etc just cant stand em

i hate any annoying musical adverts all together, the original confuse.com advert was fine n simple, an angry confused bloke shouting. worked just fine and should of left it at that, but no, they had to swap it for some silly singing cartoon <_<

again with admirals original advert, it was a bloke dressed as an admiral, nothing wrong with it. then they swapped it for cartoon russian dolls but still dressed as an admiral to advertise the multi car policies, ok fair enough clever i suppose i could live with it. but look what they've done now, the russian dolls have decided to burst into song  now another company i refuse to use cause of the annoying advert n i'm so glad i'm not with them anymore having found a better deal elsewhere

while on musical adverts, webuyanycar.com.. not my car with that advert your not. i really dont get it, they on about something as serious as selling your car, meaning your at least over the age of 18 and therefor an adult and not a 4year old. so treat me like an adult for crying out loud n gimme a serious advert not treat me like a child with a very annoying silly jingle :o

one of my most hated adverts has to be the damn meerkats. the whole thought process behind it was hmm what sounds like market? oh meerkat kind of sounds like market, meerkats are cute (apparently) lets make an advert with meerkats

even the very first meerkat adverts really annoyed the hell outa me, i aint a child, i dont think meerkats are cute n cuddly n i'm not gonna be sold summin as serious as insurance by a damn meerkat

years have gone by now and like the fat twonk, the meerkats have gone way too far. i know its supposed to be for the kids but i am not gonna buy car or home insurance from a certain website just so i'll get a damn meerkat toy. if i had kids i definitely wouldnt be nagged into going on that site for the toy either.

that's my rant over now, for now :)

The Ladbrokes adverts with that screaming old git.

What you have to remember is that advertising companies know you'll talk about annoying adverts just as much as ones you like, and while you're talking about them, the things advertised are being remembered too which is their goal after all.

lol you could say its a pattern but its just pure coincidence that insurance/motor related adverts have extremely annoying musical adverts. maybe i'm just an 80year old cynical git trapped in a youthful 23year olds body but these adverts are like nails on a chalkboard to me every time they come on tv. talk about poluting my airwaves

yup that long haired shouty safestyle bloke was also annoying

I absolutely detest that advert advertising ideal logic boilers with the woman from loose women saying somethin like "why would you waste upto £15 a month servicing inneficient old boilers?" as if shes got a :censored: clue! Anyone paying £15 a month to service any boiler is already being ripped off without her trying to get them to buy one of those ideal boilers! I meam I charge £30 for a Boiler service once a year! Lol

i get what your saying there mate n i know its what theyre doing, but the thing with me is i'll just remember the company for having an annoying advert and put em on a mental list of companies i will flat out refuse to go on

about the only comparison site i will use is moneysupermarket cause peter jones on a trolley didnt annoy me as much as go compare did, even most of the epic adverts i can tolerate but some of em really annoy me too

What about the Ambulance chasers?

Injurylawyers4U, if they don't bog off they'll be the ones having an 'accident'.

And the flamin' loan sharks that charge 2000% interest so they know anyone desperate enough to take one of their loans out will never ever be able to pay off more than the interest.

The only difference between them and the 'Big Chris' types that used to come to your doorstep is they cripple you with their rates and not a crowbar to the knees.

I tend to avoid adverts by TiVo'ing everything and fast forwarding!

I hate every advert out there... no exceptions, I cannot stand advertising that is pushed in your face, and at loud volumes over your TV program, I have no worst ones, its like picking your least favourite S.T.I.

Try watching tv in America then.

Ever wondered why American produced tv shows that are shown over here have a good five minutes programme before the titles? It's because on American channels they show that five minute part, the title sequence and then cut straight to an ad break.

They don't even use cut screens either, you could be watching a food show and then suddenly you're wondering why the chef has started trying to sell you car insurance.

It's very annoying indeed.

oh dont even get me started on personal injury, ppi and payday loan adverts

too late

all thieving scum bags alike. take personal injury, its bad enough you've had an accident, your off work and in pain stuck infront of the tv. but to make it worse your being hounded in advert break by all these different companies doing the exact same thing trying to convince you to make a claim so they can take most of your compensation.

then it also feeds the compensation culture where you fake an accident or play a minor scratch out to be something more than it is just for the sake of a dodgy claim, an example of this is one of their own adverts where they set up one of theyre 'lawyers' falling down some stairs and then they go see
accidents even happen to us. when no, the only accident was the daft mare being conceived in the first place and growing up to be a money grabbing tool. the 'accident' itself was completely dodgy and entirely her own fault, for a start she's not looking where she's walking, she's wearing 20inch high heals and walking down concrete stairs staring at a camera rather than looking at her footing. it was obviously all set up themselves in an attempt to relate to the people whos had an accident and coming to them for help, when really their just going out to all the chavvy people saying if you go out, not look where your going n 'accidentally' fall down some stairs come to us n we'll get you some compensation minus our costs.

another type of advert annoying me is the new fpi ones, where theres a load of jumped up tools dressed like the men in black. if i was at home with a broken leg theres no way i would trust these childrens film looking characters with something as serious as my injury.

onto ppi

yes ppi is an actual thing that happened n many many people was miss-sold it by scum bag banks years ago in a way of doing people out of their hard earned cash. the people who was miss-sold it by rights should be given it back without any hassle and banks have put aside billions to pay it back. but the thing is its actually a well known fact and been on the likes of watchdog etc on tv saying all you actually need to do to claim your money back, is basically write your bank a letter stating; you miss-sold me ppi, now you need to pay it me back. and the banks by law have to give it you back. its as simple as writing a letter.

but this has spawned a new league of money grabbing scum bags and more adverts harassing you constantly saying for a fee, they will take all the hassle and 'process' the claim on your behalf. which really just means, pay us a few grand of your own money that by law your entitled to, and we'll write a letter
to the bank for you. its bad enough these poor people was conned out of theyre money years ago in the first place by the banks, and now any old scum bag can set up their own ppi company, whack an advert on tv and con you out of it again.

and finally onto I am a spammer remove me

we're pretty much in a triple dip recession cause of what thatcher did years ago and what every tool in government since her as done to this once great country. everyones being laid off, no-ones got a job, and those lucky enough to still be in a job are having their wages severely cut while the cost of living sky rockets and fuel prices saw while the actual cost of oil remains really cheap n affordable so over a quid of what you pay at the pump goes straight in tax mans pocket.

because of this, everyone is being left short for funds and their wages arent going far enough. so now again its spawned another new breed of scum bags, offering short term loans at 5000% apr, knowing full well if the people they giving loans to could afford the repayments they wouldnt of needed to take the loan out in the first place. so your get some poor single mother struggling to cope taking out a 200quid loan to desperately try n tide her over till she next get paid, only to end up 5grand in debt cause she cant afford the interest repayments.

all of the above are money grabbing scum bags that dont deserve to of been born and i seriously dont get why this isnt illegal.

rant over

Lmao  I take it you're more of a radio man? ;) hahaha

lol actually no, i dont listen to radio cause i get fed up of constantly having to flick through every time lady gaga or adele comes on

in the car i stick my usb with all my pre-approved listening material into my head unit n i'm good to go

with tv i'm constantly flicking through the channels whenever adverts come on for fast forward em when possible

i guess i'm coming across as a right old grumpy git now, who'd of funk it that i'm only 23 :o

i've got a good reason to be grumpy at the moment though so i guess its all coming out on here

how come my rant keeps auto editing itself anyway inserting 'I am a spammer remove me' after i've posted me post. it was supposed to say and finally onto pay day loans

!Removed! hell Brigante!! Relax man, take a breath and relax lol

I don't like adverts, they annoy the hell out of me - but not quite that badly!!

That said, there are one or two that make me chuckle - some of the Aldi adverts for example.
