Hi guys

my car recently developed a squeak when turning after an inspection at the garage the mechanic said it was just a dry cv boot and sprayed it with wd40 to cure the squeak and for the most part the squeak has stopped but it does still do it at certain points. i just wondered if any one had any tips on better lubricating the boot to remove said squeak permanently, thanks

regards, Rich

if i understand this correctly, your talking about the outside of the boot....if so, you could stretch the boot slightly by removing the clip on the driveshaft, slide the back of the boot further back and resecure...will lessen the chance of the boot rubbing against itself on steering
