Mike77
Seen this post pop up many times, so thought as this will be the 400'th post, i'd add my bit. Today I have replaced the timing belt, timing belt tensioner & idler wheel, and also replaced the aux belt & tensioner. Fresh antifreeze, front pads and discs and treated her to a new air freshener to complete the job lol. Long day, but feel at ease now. graememcw
Finally got round to fitting my new asian grill after spending the last week and a half painting the inserts (due to work, and not being able to proceed when I should have been able to) Anyways. I'm happy with the result :) Grille, after I attach my number plate: Bearing it's teeth: After on my fez:

Stoney871
While I'm here I thought I'd update on my recent purchases and next projects- £42 instead of £80+ - Also to finish off my RS carbon theme inside I've acquired this nice bit of kit- Individual bits from Ford = £500ish, my price £90 including the handbrake trim. I already have a MK2.5 Gear knob surround trim so that bits sorted. I just need to source the console brackets (£15 and £5 for both) and side trims to go from the front of the console to under the dash (£40 each) and job's a good un'. Ru4hie
added an ST tax disc holder and put an ST key ring on the keys, should be good for a few extra BHP right?
nelly6912345
Took advantage of the reasonable weather and de-tangoed my 'fez', front, back and sides. Thought I would have trouble with the mirror indicators, but not a prob at all. Oh, and had the front passenger footwell plastic heater exhaust pipe come away and fall into the footwell for no reason!. I hope its not the shape of things to come........do you think I can get it back on!, not a chance!!
Fiesta1.25
I have just illuminated my boot popper switch with blue led, to match my headlight and electric window switches :-) bit of a pain to do but I wasn't giving up until I accomplished my mission. L666JER
Polished the fez with Auto Glym SRP - might be the last chance I get this year. Then hoovered it for the 3rd time this week - I hate wet weather. Also ordered a new rear wiper blade as I found out mine was useless :)
Hjalle
Todays been a good day - I gave my Fiesta a good hand wash and even decided to tackle the brake dust on the inside of the rims! I had a nice clean car and rims but my arms and legs were covered in brake dust. I then went and filled up a whole tank with RON 95 instead of 91. It'll be interesting to see if I notice any difference at all, I'm guessing no but we'll see

graememcw
Today was a good day, I took my car and had my wheels done gloss black. Thanks to the guys at the wheel specialist Edinburgh. (Side effect of this however was wandering about shopping all day). Then, when I got home, literally as I was pulling up, the dhs driver climbed out his van with my heko wind deflectors. Unfortunately when fitting these, I noticed a tiny crack on the passenger side one, so Ive contacted the seller and should get a replacement. I have fitted them ATM anyways, and they look great but the passenger side one especially seems to interfere with the window, and it struggles to go up. I'm hoping once I've left them to bed in for a day or two, that issue will go away. The clips also do not seem to fit in the window channel, has anyone else experienced this? Stoney871
I helped a mate fit some Heko on his Kia Sportage last week and the clips were a bit fiddly but will go in in the end. Sometimes a bit of angling is required. I used a plastic Bojo tool rather than a screwdriver to push the clips up into the rubbers as it avoids any accidental scratching of paintwork and damaged seals. Spraying some WD40 into the window channels and leaving the windows closed for 24-48 hours works wonders.
Sweeney367
My hekos interfered with the windows to start.. I had the missus hold the button down and I forced the window all the way up with my hand.. Left it over night and no more problems :) lol I've only got metal chips in the driver side.. I squashed the clips a little then brute forced them in.
graememcw
The wind deflectors seem to be bedded in fairly nicely. I've got a newest of clips which are slightly smaller on the way, so hopefully they will fit, and make that slight extra improvement. Today I hoovered out my car, it was about time it got done, I can't remember the last time I did. I still need to take a couple of things out, like random clothes lying about in the back, which I hate. I also ordered a set of fly eyes in black 1. Opted for the largest 45x150cm sheet, hoping it will be plenty to do my entire car? Will it be enough, or will I need to use it in a certain pattern to get the most out of it? Torchwood
QUICK QUESTION / REQUEST!!!!! TITANIUM OR ZETEC MODELS 2013 mk7.5's ONLY!! Has anyone taken off either of the front door cover and taken pictures of the wiring loom at the top where it all sits, up near the tweeter location!! OR Would someone be able to do this for me, i just need good close up and slightly further away pictures of the loom up near where the tweeter would sit in the door card/cover. The loom comes into the door as normal and then comes through the black under panel near the front and towards the top, it doesn't run along to much and there should be a connector plug near where the connector is for the tweeter plug. Any help would be a GREAT help in solving a mystery!!
