Danger_MouseUK
I recently picked up a mk2 estate, quite cheap, for a bit of a project car. It is a little scruffy on the inside and the driver's seat has half the upper bolster missing so will need replacing. Are there any other interiors that will fit the mk2 estate, other than a mk2 estate? Do mk2 hatch seats fit for example, or modeo interiors? Just looking as to what options I have. Cheers. Stoney871
A standard MK2 interior will fit, apart from obviously boot trim and headliner. Mondeo interiors/seats will be different dimensions.
Danger_MouseUK
Great thanks, that expands the options. btw, by mk2 I don't mean the mk1 facelift. My car is a 56 plate.

mkaminski100
A standard MK2 interior will fit, ... Are you sure that the back seat from a liftback will fit an estate?
Stoney871
I see no reason why not, no point Ford changing seats just because the back is a bit longer/squarer,
mkaminski100
Don't want to sound harsh, but what if you are wrong and this bloke is waiting for a new set of £300 seats that will not fit? I'm sure you know that back seats from MKI hatch won't fit MKI estate without modification and even with that modification it's not a perfect fit. I am also very interested in this topic, but want to be 100% sure before making any decisions.
Danger_MouseUK
Yeah, appreciate people helping, but i'm after a fairly certain answer before i lay out cash on a new set of seats.
Stoney871
Best option then is to speak to a Dealer parts counter to see if the seat part numbers for a hatch and estate are different.
