I have a 2001 Maverick 2.0 XLT, I have just been to Scotland (from Sheffield) and went off road, nothing heavy just on grass. I thought I would try the 4 wheel drive button and when I turned it on the gear box clunked into gear and the car started juddering. Hit the button again and it clunked off, When we got back down to the road and slowed down to below 10 mph I now have a juddering and dull noise like something is catching.
