Ford Focus (2000) 1.6 Lx Head Unit

Hi all

I'm looking for a little guidance with my head unit.

I bought it last year and fitted it to a ford focus 05 plate and all went well but then was forced to sell, but kept the head unit. problem is it doesn't fit into the new focus which is a 2000. could somebody please help with how to fit it , and what accessories/fittings i need

05 TO A 2000 so a mk2 to a mk 1.5 totaly different fitments arnt they ? or am i missing something

yeah sorry i didn't really explain properly, basically I bought it for my Mk2 focus with all fascia and extra cables etc. but then sold the car but kept the head unit.

I am now wanting to fit it to my 2000 plate focus, and having taking it to my local audio specialist to ask how i would do it (who was a rude B*****d) i still have no idea.

You'll need the loom specific to the MK1 Focus and a new fascia as the radio is squarer than the standard 5000/6000 designed for the car.

You will need to tell the seller the exact model you have to guarantee loom compatability with the radio.

The kit will have everything you need for the swap over.

You may find cheaper but will the kits be so comprehensive?
