Lenny
Excellent choice john, The MKi9200 is a high quality piece of kit, aux port, USB, Even playback music through a USB dongle. Great sound on phone calls both ways too. I dont have one fitted personally, but I bought my mother one last Christmas
gazsutton
i have a lower model to this, but i may be upgrading and that does look good. i like the features on this version. mine is just a basic, talking one with a screen and you can schrol through your phone back but thats it. let us know what you think to the quality of it. johnH
nice, was it hard to do? The hardest bit was finding where all the cables should go and placement of the screen etc. but other than that its a straight forward clip and connect. no splicing of wires needed. Excellent choice john, The MKi9200 is a high quality piece of kit, aux port, USB, Even playback music through a USB dongle. Great sound on phone calls both ways too. I dont have one fitted personally, but I bought my mother one last Christmas I was originally debating on the 9100 and 9200 but i wasnt too keen on the oled screen on the 9100 and for an extra £20 i couldnt complain about getting high range equipment. ive only used it for bluetooth music streaming and phone features...but so far im very happy with the results i have a lower model to this, but i may be upgrading and that does look good. i like the features on this version. mine is just a basic, talking one with a screen and you can schrol through your phone back but thats it. let us know what you think to the quality of it. Yeah i will do when i get a chance to have a proper go at it...so far so good. the mic is dual so it reduces the road noise and interferance you get with general kits and it sounds like the other person is in the car. the music is also pretty good and turning up to 15 bounces the car and doesnt distort the sound.
salsheikh
did it come with all the right leads or did you have to purchase them?
johnH
you have to purchase a harness called SOT-092 but its only £12 from Halfords - it turns the main harness into a number of jump in iso connectors etc. very simple and easy to use.
Stoney871
Just make sure you transfer over the aux connector block on the quadlock if fitted.

Sweeney21101989
You can buy non sot cables from eBay less cable plus volume is controled from radio rather than parrot
johnH
Volume controls work via the media stalk and radio already.
SatTechUk
Volume controls work via the media stalk and radio already. I think what he meant is that using the Non SOT lead from eBay (usually £26.00) will ensure your music is powered by the amp on the car stereo instead of the Parrot blue box, which at times can be tinny. I am having my MKi9200 fitted this week! fun times. P.S - John I am having mine fitted in the exact position as yours :-D. How did you attach yours? Did you attach the main clamp with sticky pads which the screen docks onto and then stick it to the swivel bracket? Also, is it easy to view the screen in the position you have installed it to?
