Egr Valve Blanking

hi all sorry if I sound a bit thick but does my 2009 1.8tdci titanium have an egr valve if so where and would it be visable to blank it off

Hi George,

Yes you do have an EGR on your engine,

I highly recommend blanking any engine that has an egr fitted.

Best blanking plates are manufactured from stainless steel, because they won't deteriorate or break through like the aluminium ones do.

Also purchase one with no centre hole.

Hopefully a fellow 1.8TDCi driver will show you exactly where it is on your engine,

I think its an easy fit on your engine though no removing wipers to access it.
