griffster01
Hi folks, our fusion decided to snap it's cambelt and so the valves had a little frolick with the pistons! having striped the engine down and removed the head, sadly the exhaust manifold heat shield didn't survive the removal process ( M6 bolts in a manifold asking for trouble) so I need a new one if anyone can help! also I have to say what a pig of an engine to work on, access is minimal to say the least. rayleask
Sorry to hear about the mishap. I cant help with the heat shield (I had a similar problem a couple of year back) but do you know what prompted the breakage? It looks like your Fusion is 10 years old, had it done a lot of miles? Best wishes, Ray
