jon-v8
Hi Guys, I have the Denso Sat Nav in my 06 Focus, and on CD/AUX mode, in the top right corner it says CDDJ Error - what does this mean? Why does it appear as it all seems to work?
Stoney871
Do you have a disc changer installed in your car? CDDJ is CD Disc Jockey, basically an external 6 disc changer unit which connects via a rear plug on the radio. If you have a changer, and a disc or the cartridge is jammed or broken you'll get that message. If the cable is unplugged from the rear of the radio or no changer is fitted then no message should show at all. The changer if fitted is usually under the passenger seat but some do get fitted in the boot (but are usually aftermarket ones) and should look something like this-
jon-v8
Thanks for the reply. I researched into it, and everyone who says they have that message is because it either doesn't work, jammed or unplugged/missing. So its interesting that my changer under the passenger seat works, which is why I couldn't understand why I'm getting that message? Does this mean I need to strip it down and clean/regrease?
