The sun has hit us hard these last couple of days so we thought what better time to crack out some AC! =D But woe be us, the AC doesn't actually turn on. We press the button and the light comes on as we press it, but the moment you let go of the AC button, the light goes; basically it wont stay on/turn on. Mr Leroy. it sounds to me like your a/c needs re-gassed. if there isnt enough gas the a/c compressor wont kick in. with air con, you either use it or loose it. it needs to be used often to allow the gas to lubricate the seals etc in the system to help prevent loss. 20 mins every week would do it. Not sure what the a/c setup is like on your car but you can buy a kit from the likes of Halfords for about £40 with a pressure gauge and refill yourself, very very simple. Halfords will also test the pressure in your system for free and tell you if it needs refilled. stef oops, just realised your in france? Halfords wont be much use then lol. For ages, it's been a bit odd, ive pressed it before and it works, and other times not, same with the GF... It all comes down to one thing i worked out today... The air flow dial has to actually be above 0 for the AC to kick in... LOL pressing AC when the wheel is set to off on the console will flick the light on until you let go.. however, turn the fans on to 1 or above and voila....
