Pre 2000 Car Or Post

Hi every body looking at a couple of pumas one R reg Black 117 K rear arches have been done, 12 months mot and 6 months tax the other a W plate green slight wheel arch rust 114k 12 months mot 6 months tax, the question is which is the better car were the early ones easier to tune better built etc etc

they are both around £800 the obvious choice is go with newer car, but that's not always the best thing

Looks like 6 of one and half-a-dozen of the other, are they both the same engine? 1.6/1.7?

Probably the smarter thing to do is go for the newer one - unless you really, really want a black one
