justgotast170
Can you tell me where the fuel filter is located on this car. Thanks
delboy
the fuel filter is just infront the rear nearside wheel (passengers side) you will need pair of clamps to clamp the fuel lines eitherside of the filter then squeeze the tabs on the fuel line that connects onto the filter & pull each end off then unto the clamp that holds to filter to the body of the car & slide out then fit the new filter put on the pipes & make sure they are secure then remove clamps then start engine you will find it will take a little time to start due to the filter having to fill up so just keep cranking until if fires up. piccy of what it looks like here m8. the fiestas are the same as the ka. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Street-Ka-Comline-Fuel-Filter-Service-Part-OE-Quality-ID17114-/350830637737?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3AStreet+KA&hash=item51af22b2a9

justgotast170
Martin, Is the oil filter on the rear of the engine ? Thanks
btmaldon
oil filter is on the rear of the engine. You should be able to get to it if you jack up the drivers side front and remove the wheel. You will need a strap type filter remover to undo it as they can be very stiff to undo. If your not sure, here's a video: http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=ka+oil+filter+location&qpvt=ka+oil+filter+location&FORM=VDRE#view=detail&mid=6ACC5F46E1B9544759AC6ACC5F46E1B9544759AC
delboy
as btmaldon said its on the rear of the engine. i can usually lie under the car from the front offside tyre & get my hand on the filter & undo it but if it's hard to undo put it on ramps of axel stands and use a strap of chain type remover but when refitting use a little oil on the new filter rubber seal & do it up by hand and dont use a tool or use the tool to only nip it up.
