My Focus Sport

Following the sale of my mk6.5 Fiesta Zetec S TDCI which ended up running 155bhp from the stock 90, I brought a 2011 Focus Sport TDCI.

The old Fiesta

The new Focus

As it the family car the bit of work was the installation of isofix for my daughters car seat.

Second item to change was the spare wheel in the boot. The Focus was supplied with a full size spare, but the eats in the boot space which I need for buggies etc... as wel as my scout equipment (local Scout leader). So sourced a brand new space saver from a focus to be scrapped at work and reclaimed my boot space. Just in the process of trying to get a new carpet for boot in exchange for my carpet and the foam which sat around the wheel.

And today saw the installation of a Pippercross cone to replace the standard paper filter.

With further plans ahead which includes:

Replace the worn silver dash parts

Rear window tints

Clear lense fog - Done

Colour code bonnet lip - Done

ST spoiler - Done

Black headlights - Done

Black gloss grills

Refit old Fiesta tuning parts - after warranty period ends

Zetec S kit - if money ever allows it

The Fiesta looks very nice, bet it was good for overtaking :)

Good luck with the Focus, keep updates coming.

It was good fun, just not practical for family life :(

On the plus side I have all the uprated parts in the garage after removing from the old Zetec S so could be fitted to the Focus.

Welcome to the family Chris!

Looks like you made a good swap there, and you have plenty of plans already!

Got given a set of wind deflectors from a mate who has an estate as the wrong set turned up for him and company sent new set but never collected old. So as I'm off today they were fitted this morning and also did a bit of de-badging to the rear.

Looking good. I have the same air filter on mine. Its worth getting a set of the lockwood sill covers as they do get scratched. Also I fitted the Zetec S grill on mine and it does look better.

Well luck may have it that a friend ordered a new bonnet lip recently and has arrived in moondust silver and not chrome. So hoping over the xmas break to swap mine with his.

Well he did order a 'silver' lip and not a 'chrome' one.

ST spoiler due to be delivered monday or Tuesday this week, just need to get a brake light to fit in it, but cant complain for £40 delivered in moondust silver.

Next job while I wait to get my hands on a zetec s kit is to gloss black the grills. Not sure to gloss black the fog grills or to colourcode them.

People's views please

Tidy.

I'd say gloss for the surrounds, all colour coded to me looks flat.
