tillow
Hi all, Recently bought a Focus Titanium 1.6tdci 2010. Its has heated front seats but when i set them to maximum setting of 5 I can barely feel any heat at all. I have checked the fuse and that is ok. I have never had heated seats before but i remember sitting in my mates VW Bora which had them and they got very very warm. Any feedback is appreciated Ross
artscot79
the vws suffered from the seats overheating and burning youre backside i had one ive not had any other car with them burning youre backside at 70mph on a motorway with nowhere to pull over is an excriciating experience i dont want again lol so ive no idea how warm any other cars get ide imagine it would be a slow gradual process
jamesm182
Mine get very warm on 5 and I would say very noticeable from 3 upwards. Perhaps the element has burnt out? Is it the same on both sides?
Preee
I can feel the heat from the seat within one minute of selecting number 5 , they are warm to the touch if you place your hand on them and not too hot. They will also only work if the car is running
tillow
Yes it's the same both sides, and with the engine running. If the element is burnt out, would that affect both seats then?
