Merv130
Thanks guys, thinking I will keep them for the mean time anyway. Daniel missed your post about the sub, with all my picture whoring lol, its just a matter of buying RCA converters and wiring them into the back speaker cables, then running the power, earth, ignition live and RCAs to the sub, I think there is a guide on this or one of the other forums on how to do it already, but it is on my to do list, so i'll have plenty of photos when the time comes.

Merv130
so I haven't had much time for the car this past while due t0 finishing my post graduate degree, but now thats out of the way I have a few more things in the pipline. acquired these to with my milltek cat back Milltek 4-1 manifold Millltek decat Milltek Sport cat I started to clean and polish the sport cat but it took that long that I decided it wasn't worth it as it will never be seen once its fitted on to the car also have this sitting to go on I also got around to sticking on my dmb sticker on the steering wheel before after
Merv130
I'm also heading to the causeway coast ford fair here in northern Ireland tomorrow, so today was spent cleaning the car. The results:
Merv130
probably a bit of overkill on the photos, but I'm quite happy with the finish, it's the best I think I can get without a machine polisher.
Merv130
Well it has been a while since I have been on here, partly due to having a lot of exams finishing off my postgraduate degree and partly due to laziness once those exams finished....but a lot has happened since may I heard about the 10 year warranty on ford badges and noticed that my rear one had corroded. So I took it down to ford and got them to replace it. When I got the car back and drove home I noticed that they had damaged the paint work around the badge and then tried to touch it up so I wouldn't notice I wasn't best pleased, jumped straight in the car and drove back to ford and had a word with the service manager. Arranged to have the car left in, the damaged panel resprayed, with another new ford badge and got £65 knocked of a service which I got done at the same time. I also picked up one of these from a mk7.5 It fits in the gap between the two drink holders, drinks sit a lot better in it now I also picked up these to tidy up the door pillar a bit. before after
Merv130
I finally got my full milltek system fitted, manifold, decat and catback. I also managed to pick up a milltek sport cat for when mot comes around. I'm really happy with it and it is quite loud which took a bit of getting used to. Its also sitting quite low, but I have a powerflex exhaust mount sitting ready to put on, it will hopefully make it sit a bit better. I was at a local show recently and got a few pics taken, its nice to have a few photos that aren't taken using an iPhone camera!!
Merv130
I had planned to split my headlights and paint them black, but after hearing a few horror stories and the fact that my headlight wouldn't fit in the oven when these came up for sale I jumped at them. first to go were the orange bulbs again, I didn't get to fit my hid bulbs due to ordering the wrong ones. I assumed that the dipped was 448 when it was 453, so if anyone if after a set of HID 448 bulbs let me know. lights fitted to the car I also got my halo lights working in the fogs after a bit of rewiring and replacing a faulty one. They are wired to come on with my ignition using a fusetap from the fuse box.
Merv130
I went to a cruise for cancer along the north coast of Northern Ireland, it was a great day and they raised a substantial amount for a good cause I love this photo, shows off the stance with the spacers really well one of the things that annoyed me when I got the car was that it didn't come with rear mats, I just had the ford motorsport front ones, so when a full set popped up on eBay I couldn't resist. the back ones were put into the car and I have the front ones as spair
Merv130
I also bought a set of tripple r headlight brows and got them painted in frozen white and a really awful iPhone photo showing the drl strip and the fog halos on at night Thats the car as it sits now, thoughts?

alanmx
Then working backwards the mounts for the new end caps have to be riveted on comparison of old and new end caps To make the end caps fit the slots in the bumper, I had to trim some of the tabs down a bit and then pushed the clips back on the inside of the bumper using a pair of pliers. they will then need to be riveted onto the mounts the same way as the old ones were. endcaps fitted I assembled the ST diffuser off the car, as I thought it would easier than when on the car. It pops together and then I used a two nuts and bolts to secure the two parts together either side. easier to take apart then if i had riveted. Then the diffuser section should just push onto the car with a bit of force. To secure the diffuser I used to self tapers through the upper part of the diffuser which goes under the car into the end caps, again I could have riveted but I wanted the option to be able to remove it and I didn't have access to use nuts and bolts this time. once I fitted it to the car I noticed that part of the bumper was showing on the right hand side of the cutout for the exhaust, so I used a dremel to cut the section away. its the area to the top right of the exhaust that curves downwards in the photo below there was also two tabs on the bottom part of the diffuser which I cut off as they were useless when fitting it to a mk7 photo of the diffuser fitted I also had smoked, LED rear fog lights and took the opportunity to fit them when I had the car jacked up and the wheels off. Where did you bought the fog caps?Enviado desde mi Nexus 5 mediante Tapatalk
