Last thing I did was change the headlight bulbs and now the whole car won't even start.. It doesn't even idle!

All the fuses look okay.. What in Gods name have I done!?

Does it try to tick over? do the headlights flicker when you try to start the car?

You write "the last thing". Did you change or do anything before that what could cause this?

Did you by any chance maybe do something with the plugs of the ecu, it's not directly behind the left headlight but you never know.

Got it checked today.. There was a malfunction with the fuse box for the ignition.

Panic over!

No they use less power but produce more light than standard halogens a 35w ballast produces 55w of light and 55w ballast poduces the same amount of light just brighter would recommend a HID Kit to any one

If its the cheap blue tinted bulbs off eBay they are not Xenon gas filled bulbs the are just blue tinted bulbs that are not as good as standard ones. I've got several sets sitting in my garage. Should chuck them really as I am never going to use them.

Buy some Osram Nightbreakers:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00EPLCPRG?tag=thederangeddr-21&camp=522&creative=3898&linkCode=bn1&creativeASIN=B00EPLCPRG&adid=0K9H1D7HY218CVAPPN5R&&ref-refURL=http%3A%2F%2Fcarnuts.weebly.com%2Fcar-parts.html

or some Phillips Bluevision bulbs:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-0730220-12972-BVUSM-Vision-Headlight/dp/B00440CWE4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1387549261&sr=8-3&keywords=Philips+bluevision

Both will give you a significant improvement legally. Dont bother with HID's. They aren't legal and you will guarantee your car will fail future MOT's because of it. Also you may invalidate your insurance because of the modification.
