Hi,

I lost my spare key fob for my Focus Zetec 2012 so ordered a new one from eBay as well as a new blade to go in it that matches my key code.

I have the following keyfob: http://i.imgur.com/kx2KR3t.png

I am unable to find anywhere a guide to programming the buttons for a 2011/2012 focus.

Would anyone be able to give me advice on this?

Thanks!

Unless you have the transponder programmed too It will not start your car.

You are best off finding a local Auto Locksmith to set the key up for you.

Thanks for replying so fast. How much does this usually cost?

It does vary.

Best to call a few and get quotes.

Having a cut blade will speed up the process, You'll be looking at about 2 minutes work tops.

key goes into ignition, IDS panel plugs into car OBD port, a few buttons pressed and job done.

I've got the new fob and the blade cut so I only need them for the 2 minute job. I'm sure I'll get a few cowboy quotes!
