adowling
I bought a pair of focus st xenons for my mk2.5. I've managed to get the xenons and the bi-xenon feature working with an earthing wire from the ballast to chassis, but the levellers don't work. Are there any wiring modifications I need to do, and if so, what are they? Would appreciate help :) thanks guys!
jeebowhite
I thought that the wiring for the levelling was the same on both types. I think though you may find its necessary to acquirer the appropriate wiring harness.
JW1982
The electric levelling motors and wiring are different on halogen and xenon headlights. The electric levelling motors of the xenon headlights are not suitable for the manual (electric) levelling system of a car with halogen headlights. If you want the manual (electric) levelling to work on xenon headlights you have to change the electric levelling motors and modify the wiring.
