well i took my 1.8 mondeo 2009 , 41000 mls to evans halshaw manchester for auto spark to sort out after finding alarm going off and fan operating on its own ,leading to two flat batteries in 2 hours! was told heated rear window relay fault plus diagnostic =£280 ok says i 2 hours later bill is not £280 but £799 WHAT now i am told i need a new fusebox as well! Posibly water in it strong word i think may be needed tommorow 21/1/14 am ps £80 per hour labour, what would you do, and all advice appreciated thanks

I would say that is a bit excessive. The fusebox could most likely be dried out and refitted, so I wouldnt jump to that just yet.

The relay could be replaced cheaper, if its just the plugin relay at the engine bay then you could buy one from a write off and refit it?
