Bren Wain
I have recently ordered some new alloys for my mk7 fiesta, they are 17"x7j. I am wondering what profile tyres to get?? I am wanting a low profile look but obviously not too low so that every little stone feels like a pothole. Any suggestions. Thanks
nickandlaura2011
I've got 205/40/17s on mine and it's awful. Next tyre change I'm going to try 205/45/17 see if it's any better Sent from my C5303 using Ford OC mobile app
RickyT93
ive got the same as above, 205/40/17 and i agree it does feel horrendous, everytime i hit a small pot hole i have to get out and check to see if ive buckled my alloy because it feels that bad! iNath
Anything other than 205/40/17 will knock your speedo out.
nickandlaura2011
By how much thou I can cope with a about 5mph or so Sent from my C5303 using Ford OC mobile app
iNath
205/45/17 = 3.37% out (70mph reads 72.36mph) 205/50/17 = 6.88% (74.8mph reading) It is not recommended to go over 2.5% difference.
anya00tan
Hi guys. Recently fiited mine with Goodyear Efficient Grip 215/40r17 as recommended by a tyre dealer. Not much change in reading coming from the stock. No rubbing or clicking on full lock. Hope this helps.
