Alternator 2002 Fiesta Tdci

My alternator has gone, the bearing is rattling like a goodun so I need to get another one sorted.

This is the cheapest I can see, but it states that it has no rev counter contacts.....tbh not entirely sure what this means?

can anyone suggest another place, or let me know if this is something that I should be worried about?
