greatdj_123
I'm guessing at about £25.00 - £50.00. Depending on the dealer Sent from my GT-I9305 using Ford OC mobile app

jeebowhite
The average price for a key alone is about 50-60, but then you have to factor in the art of cutting and coding. As you seem to have the older model, if you have the programming key and one other then you should be alright, you could get a key cheaper off eBay, then get it cut independantly. Stoney871
How many keys do you currently have? If you have two original keys already then you can buy a new one off eBay, get the blade cut to match then programme it to the immobiliser and central locking yourself. If you only have one key at present then you would be better served by an Auto Locksmith. Ford would add on costs by insisting on a diagnostic and labour charges. Gazst170
Thanks for your reply. If I have key cover on my insurance policy. Would I be able to get keys from them do you think? If I was to tell them ive lost my key Thanks gary Sent from my GT-I9300 using Ford OC mobile app
Stoney871
With key cover you would get replacement keys, ring your company and check. You may find that any excess costs you more than sorting a key via eBay yourself though.

Stoney871
I have a tame local locksmith and he does all the keys for my local dealer. They pay him a flat rate £85 per key and trouser the rest.
Gazst170
No surprise there then ive been talking to one of the lads at ford. He tells me he can sell me a key on the cheap. And then go to where he works. And get them to programme for me and just say I got it from eBay.
