Lmbrown
Hi, I have a 2007 ranger which I use for work. I do a lot of towing and when reversing heavy loads on Tarmac the drive train gets very wound up when in low ratio 4wd. My question is: does anyone know if it's possible to modify the gearbox to make it possible to engage low without 4wd. I am thinking about upgrading to a 3.2 new shape and wondered if it would be possible to do a similar thing with the electronic switched gearbox? Thanks
dale barlow
Unplug the blue plug in front of the the brake servo and you can use the low box in two wheel drive mode.
