Just wondered if anyone knew what wait 3000 means, just bought a streetka and was told it will need a code for the radio. So i go to turn it on it comes up with wait 3000 and flashing.

Ive managed to get the serial number just need a code now but im not sure what this message means.

I'm guessing that someone has entered the wrong code a number of times and, as an anti-theft precaution, the radio needs to be left on for 3000 (minutes?) until you can try again.

Well this is what i read before but thought surely not 3000 mins now ive just paid on an app for a code whether is legit or not, now when i go to turn the radio on nothing comes up! Do you know if the code will only be 4digits long? And how are you supposed to put the code in?

That will be the 30 minute countdown until you can enter a code again.

A code is entered by scrolling using keys 1-4.

Example- code 4321- press key 1 four times, key two three times etc.

When the code is correct on the screen then press key 5 to enter it.

You may have entered the wrong code too many times. I believe you get 10 attempts then it's a Dealer unlock only.

Did you buy the car privately or through a dealer?

If through a dealer get them to sort it, if privately......then I don't know what you can do apart from appeal to their better nature.
