i have a gray connector block byside the battery tray ( it split into the sensor that connectors to side of the head)

It as brown and white striped cable & pinky/purple & white stripped cable

What have u checked so far wat is ur car year engine size

ford focus tddi 90ps 2000.

cant find a sensor. worked fine before head was removed for head rebuild

U must have coolant temp sensor unplugged this usually defaults a reading an make fan constantly run to avoid overheating if sensor fails

according to manual the temp sensor is remove that oil catch tank beside my battery. i cant remember reconnecting this sensor. so ill have to remove the catch tank and have a look. :)

does it not plug into the thermostat under neath it somewher or connects to the fan wiring and is locatated on the side of the airbox
