Focus Titanium Mk2.5 1.6

So I thought it might be time to get a few pics up of my car.

It started out as a standard titanium when I brought it 2 years ago and probably stayed that way until October last year. So far I have lowered it on just springs. Sprayed grills, fog surrounds and wing mirror covers gloss black. Got aftermarket heater controls xenon bulbs and blue led interior bulbs. I also changed the steering wheel trims to carbon fibre blue

Your thoughts and opinions are welcome.

I know it needs new alloys desperately but they won't come until end of this year just to second baby on way.

Cheers.

Karl

Yea ocean blue mate. Instantly fell in love with it when I see it.

I was being very picky as I had a Mercedes clc 2.2turbo diesel before but wasn't practical with a family. So as you can imagine I was not going to settle for anything. Lol.

Can not fault this car at all.

Ok. I'm interested in the k&n. How much are you thinking?

Just received my dmb gel overlays post-50491-139965380064_thumb.jpg

Before anyone asks why I got black and yellow. I'll explain. Lol

I have done my wheels in gloss black and my callipers in yellow.

Will get some pics of the wheels tomorrow.

Also got the wheel centres the same. But need to wait for my centre caps to arrive as 3 fell out. Lol.

I painted my drums black with the hammerite. It didn't take too long but definitely looks so much better afterwards. Would recommend it. Plus it wasn't expensive either. I want to spray my calipers but not sure what colour to do them and not sure I know how to do them

They are easy mate. Just make sure you tape up everywhere and don't forget the rubber grommets.

The reason I went for yellow was to be a bit different. Everyone does red.

Personally I would keep clear of red. Too common for my liking.

How about blue? A nice pale blue? I think that would stand out nicely mate.

Yeah that's not abad idea. Can u get caliper paint that goes straight on or do u have to do other stuff first

Just buy the paint. In Halford you can get different colour hammerite witch goes straight on to rust. All I did was give them a good scrub with the wire brush first then rinsed off and let dry. Then mask everything up. Then your good to go.

Is it just the same as the one I bought for my brake drums mate

Yea should be mate. It's just high temperature paint. I'm sure it's hammerite. It will be with all the spray paint in Halfords. Or eBay high temperature. Spray paint.

With the brake drums I painted it on with a paint brush. Do you think it would be just as good with the calipers or you think spray paint. It's just I'm not a confident sprayer lol

If your not a confident sprayer get the tin so you can paint it on. Close up you might see some brush marks but no1 will notice with the wheel back on.

I sprayed mine and my mate brushed his and when the wheels were on there was no difference.
