Lights In Summer

Hey Guys,

Summer is starting here.

I have the Ford Fiesta 2014 MT 1.25L

It's a very basic model.

On the lights area in the left side of the steering wheel,

I can see there are 3 modes.

In the summer I don't need any light working,

Not on the front and not on the behind when driving in day light.

Which mode should I choose?

When I'm on the most left one,

Still there are lights on the front.

Thanks in advance.

Hi as you have a new car it has DRLs daytime running lights they cannot be turned off but only on front as this is now on all new cars so you can be seen in the daylight hours.Hope this helps.

Hello as said above it cannot be turned off and comes on with ignition they are a requirement of all new cars.

When your light switch is in the off position your drl will be on but no rear lights will be on

The three positions are-

Headlights off : DRL on.

Sidelights on :main headlights and DRL off.

Headlights on : sidelights stay on, DRL off.
