jeebowhite
Sounds like a dodgy sensor on the bonnet catch.
turbobentley
Thanks will look at getting a new one, but can they just go ?
jeebowhite
As with any switch, they could stick either closed or open. In this case, I believe that a closed circuit denotes a closed bonnet, so if the switch has failed, where its closed the switch is still open. Stoney871
Some have had success with bypassing the switch so as to stop the warning however this also stops the alarm going off when the bonnet is opened while the car is locked.
