DAMII Posted April 14, 2014 Share Posted April 14, 2014 Did my first oil and filter change on my 2 litre TDI today. After undoing the screw cap of the cartridge I was unable to remove the filter.It would spin round freely in the cap, but even by pulling very hard, it would not come away. Could some one tell me how it is removed. I noticed on the new filter there are tags on the base which I imagine are to locate it, but can`t understand why it won`t come away.
