1stghia
Finally got a obd scanner that works today (2nd time lucky) cleared fault codes and went for a run, rescanned to find just one U1900 Network, whilst looking around the net I have come across various opinions on what it could be blah blah, but the the strangest of all is that there a few sites of engineers or mechanics that say you can ignore any U1900 code :o Any body had this with a focus and had it fixed or just ignored it and had no problems?? cheers fella's
JW1982
The U1900 code refers to a CANbus communication fault. This code can be caused by a lot of things. Many cars do have this code and most times there is no actual problem. This code can also be generated by a diagnostic interface during diagnostics. As long as there are no actual problems you can ignore this code.
wase16ll
would agree with that just plugging into the obd can set this code
