Car Problems!

Featured Replies

Hi, having a problem with my ford focus ST mk2 2006. I was driving and my car just jumped and engine system fault came on and the car sounded weird! And I turned it off and back on and it was fine and about an hour later I put my foot down and the " ESP Fault " came on! Any ideas what it could be. Thanks

Just had a look under my bonnet and my K&N air filter has slipped off could that be the problem?

That would certainly be part of the problem! ESP though is the Electronic Stability Program, that would have nothing to do with the air filter. I suspect that this might point to a duff reading from the ABS Sensor/s.

Have you got a code reader, or have you done the dash trick to try and see if there are any visible codes?
