blue flash
Hi Guys. Problem hope you can help me with. On taking the rear wheels off last week, I noticed of both tyres are wearing unevenly. Tyres are like new on inside but down to 3mm on outside. Would it be tracking or bushes?? Thanks..
Lenny
Hi Guys. Problem hope you can help me with. On taking the rear wheels off last week, I noticed of both tyres are wearing unevenly. Tyres are like new on inside but down to 3mm on outside. Would it be tracking or bushes?? Thanks.. this is known as excessive positive camber, Camber is pushing too much out at the top causing excessive wear on the outter section, Laser alignment should correct this but can be costly to have done yet still cheaper than a tyre
MattDRX
You can do this yourself easy enough, wheel off, undo the track rods, and turn it in a few degrees, you can measure it easy just using string and align with the rear wheel. !Removed! easy..... providing the rods aren't rotten. MattDRX
Sorry just noticed you said rear tyres, are the shocks busted? If it's sitting low it'll wear unevenly. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Ford OC mobile app
artscot79
wear on the rear bushes can be a cause a check up and laser alignment would be my first port of call
