If it's easy enough can someone give me some advice in what is needed to be done. Cars rolling back when clicked up one or two and never used to. If so, there should be an adjustment screw somewhere around the centre hub, it should be a case of handbrake off, car chocked, and a few flicks of the wrist with a screwdriver on either side. This will then tighten the handbrake for you, but make sure you do equal tightening on both sides to ensure a non bias breaking. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jeebowhite Posted April 28, 2014 Share Posted April 28, 2014 ah OK, in which case its a different process, I think you have to get under the car and with the handbrake down and get at the adjustment nut on the underside rear of the drum, then tighten this up, or at least I believe thats the case with the modern drums? pumahsf Posted May 13, 2014 Share Posted May 13, 2014 Remove the drum (with a good hit with a hammer) You will see an adjuster at the top just below the wheel cylinders on that there is a ring which if you look you will see only turns one way, Use a flat screwdriver to turn that ring a couple of turns until when you put the drum back on and spin it, it will stop within 5 seconds, reeat on the other side.
