DougM
Brittany Ferries request drivers to turn off their car alarms for the crossing. It is not quite clear from the Owner's Guide how to do this. It says that it is activated as soon as the vehicle is locked, and that you can deactivate it by unlocking a front door! I suspect that if I lock it with the key instead of the remote and remove the key immediately, it may not be activated. Can anyone confirm this please? Stoney871
I'm pretty sure that the alarm only engages with the deadlock (second press of the lock button). Try single locking only.
