Collapsed Pipe That Goes In Back If Engine

Featured Replies

Hi, i got a mk1 focus that has a collapsed rubber pipe which goes into the back of the engine, i beleive its an oil breather pipe of some sort? Also been informed it is a common fault? Anyone know the true name of this pipe?

If you stick a photo up that will help?

Hi jeebo, its the one with my thumb on top of?

I think that pipe is coolant related to the thermostat. It could be that there is a blockage in there, causing it to collapse.

Get the engine hot and bothered, and then feel along that line, you might find that at some point it cools off and down to cool and comfortable?
