Painting Ford Fiesta Bumper Extras Black

Featured Replies

I have a ford fiesta 2006 and the grills and fog light housings are a gray colour. I want to paint them black what's the best way and paint for doing this?

I want to do the same thing to my 2008 Zetec S. But I'm taking it to a shop as I herd they can be a bit of a pain to spray

When you take it to a shop are you just taking the grill and all off? And how much u think it will cost

I am taking them off as it will be easier for the guy to do and will save a little. I don't know what it would normally cost I am getting a slight discount because it's a family friend even then I will probably pay £150 -£200 if I ask for the bonnet as well might be a little higher. I find though when doing it yourself you run the risks if getting drop marks and it becoming bubbly. My car is red and already has black spoiler, mirrors etc so it just doesn't look right with grey grills.

So for me it's worth the money.

I think personally that that price is a bit much for me car. So I might just test it on one of the fog light housings and then if I mess up I'll buy a spare one and forget about it

I'm gonna try the fog light housing first myself see if it comes out ok if not the shop will be my second choice. My plastic is smooth so it should be fairly simple.
